Dr. Kristina Keturka
Dr Kristina Keturka and Southland Smiles have been serving Aurora, Colorado and surrounding areas since 2010. Dr Keturka is a general dentist. She is committed to her patients and enjoys being able to make dentistry a pleasant experience for her patients of all ages. Dr. Kristina especially likes treating children.
Dr. Kristina Keturka is originally from Klaipeda, Lithuania. She first attended dental school at the Lithuanian University of Health and Sciences where she received her dental degree. After relocating to the United States, she attended dental school for a second time and received her second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
After completing her Degree at the University of Colorado, she continued her studies there to complete a General Practice Residency for advanced training in oral surgery.
Teaching
Dr. Keturka is passionate about teaching, and is a lead instructor for Botox, dermal filler and TMJ pain and headaches, Biolase Laser skin resurfacing courses for dentists, doctors, as well as nurses that are taught throughout the US within the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Continuing Education
Dr. Kristina Keturka mastered many areas in the dental field. She is committed to providing excellent dental care and attends continuing education courses every year in order to keep up with the constantly changing field on a wide variety of subjects, including facial esthetics, dental implants, oral surgery, cosmetic and laser dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Keturka completed a rigorous AAID Maxi Course in Las Vegas and 300+ CE hours in order to develop proficiency in all aspects of dental implants.
Distinctions
After completing General Practise Residency and passing rigorous examination, Dr. Keturka was awarded Fellowship in Hospital and Special care Dentistry Dr. Keturka has achieved the prestigious Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dentists who have earned from the AGD make up a distinct group—they represent less than 1% of all general dentists practicing in the United States and Canada.
Dr Keturka completed over 500 CE hours of didactic and patient treatment hours in dental implant training and after rigorous examination process was awarded Associate Fellow status by American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
